Keiser University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award certificates and degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels.

Does Keiser University offer scholarships?

Keiser University offers a number of different scholarships for students who meet the criteria set by the university. The Financial Aid department can provide a list of scholarships and search websites as well.

Does Keiser University have articulation agreements?

Yes, Keiser University maintains articulation agreements with various institutions of higher learning, and a student can receive this information by contacting the Admissions department or the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at the Office of the Chancellor.

Do I need a high school diploma to attend Keiser University?

Yes, candidates must provide verification of high school graduation by providing a transcript or diploma, verification of GED completion by providing GED scores or GED diploma, or proof of graduation from a foreign institution that is equivalent to a United States secondary school.

Will my credits transfer to Keiser University?

Keiser University accepts transfer credits applicable to the applicants program of study from regionally accredited institutions for courses in which a letter grade of “C” or higher was earned. The acceptance of credits for courses from non-regionally accredited institutions is contingent on appropriate faculty credentials and applicable course content of the course to be transferred.

When is the earliest that I can start classes?

Keiser University has monthly class starts. Admission counselors are available to assist with the enrollment process.

Classes are offered during the day, evening, and in an online format. Certain majors offer the hybrid option, which is a combination of both online and traditional.

Will my credits from Keiser University transfer to another school?

Transferability of credits is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

Does Keiser University accept credit for life experience?

Yes, a student must have documented experience related to specific objectives for a course. The Dean of Academic Affairs determines if a student is eligible for the credit.

Do I have to attend school full time to received Financial Aid?

No, Federal aid programs are available to students attending full time, ¾ time, ½ time, and ¼ time.

Does Keiser University offer grants?

Yes, grants are based on substantial financial need and may be applied for during your Financial Aid appointment.

Does Keiser University accept transfer credits from military training and education?

Keiser University will award college credit for appropriate learning acquired in military service at levels consistent with the American Council of Education ( ACE ) Guide recommendations.

Does Keiser University participate in the Advanced Placement Program?

Yes, Keiser University participates in the Advanced Placement Program agreement administered by high schools through the College Entrance Examination Board ( CEEB ).
