The Lakeland Campus hosted a bake sale to raise funds for one of their student veterans who lost his one- year old son last week due to a rare blood disorder. All proceeds from the bake sale will go to the family to cover final expenses. Donations will be accepted via Go Fund Me until April 1st, 2016.
Cassi Oggero, VA Certified Financial Aid Officer orchestrated the fundraiser after a few student veterans, including David Fuller asked to put something together.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
