Students currently in the PC Hardware Systems class were recently busy with a hands-on lab that takes them through the actual steps of building a PC from the ground up.  Students are being taught all aspects of troubleshooting PC hardware.  They must become proficient in knowing each component of today’s computers.  In this class, each student is given a computer to take apart, label the parts and place it back together correctly.  Students are taken through the requirements and prepped to sit for the compTIA A+ certification exam after completing an AS Information Technology degree at Keiser University.  Many of the PC’s being used have been donated to the school from local businesses.
