The Student Services Office hosted a Career Fair that provided students at the Clearwater campus an opportunity to meet and speak with local employers. The Career Fair employers represented all programs being taught on campus. Richard Page (above) of the St. Petersburg Police Department was there for our Criminal Justice Program. The University has obtained an internship program for our Criminal Justice students with SPPD, and we are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our students. A complete list of participating employers included LifeLink Foundation, Wells Fargo Banks, Doctors Weight Loss, LA Fitness, Utopia Home Care, St. Petersburg Police Department, US Army, Adonia Skin Care, LCC Hospitality Staffing, and Sam’s Club.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
