College of Golf & Sport Management Executive Director of Golf Operations and PGA Master Professional Dr. Eric Wilson, attended the 2016 Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers Summit at Timacuan Golf Resort in Lake Mary, Florida, last weekend. More than 750 PGA members from around the world were in attendance. Since 1988, premiere instructors have gathered in an effort to increase their knowledge of the golf swing, learn more about key technology outside the lesson tee, and share best practices with their colleagues. Presenters included Cameron McCormick (World #1 Jordan Spieth’s personal coach), Dr. Mark Broadie (developer of the “Shots Gained” concept on the PGA Tour), and Dave Phillips (Titleist Performance Institute founder). Additionally, PGA Tour Player/Golf Channel Analyst Brandel Chamblee was the guest speaker at the evening’s dinner function, discussing “The Anatomy of Greatness: Lessons from the Best Swings in History.” The event was a huge success and a tremendous lead-in to the annual PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center.
