Keiser University subscribes to LIRN, the Library and Information Resources Network, Inc. Our students can enter and search the following databases through LIRN:

  • Expanded Infotrac Search Bank - Expanded Academic ASAP, General Business File ASAP, Health Reference Center-Academic, National Newspaper Index, & Books in Print
  • Proquest Direct - ABI/INFORM Global, PA Research II Newspapers and Periodicals
  • Electric Library - provides access to magazine, books, newspapers, pictures, maps, TV and radio transcripts.

The computer center at the library allows students to prepare resumes and reports. Reference sources are available in all subject areas, in print and electronic formats. Computer assisted resources include: MAS Fulltext, HealthSource, Greatful Med, Westlaw, Internet access, CD Rom Encyclopedias and various tutorials. The library creates current bibliographies and booklists in each subject major and in additional subjects that benefit students. There are group or individualized lessons in bibliographic instruction in library research and in electronic research tools. Materials unavailable in the library can be borrowed through interlibrary loan. Interlibrary loan is available due to the library's membership in several library consortia: Panhandle Library Access Network, Florida Library Network and Southeastern Library Network.
