The Fort Myers campus is very proud and honored to welcome Delta Mu Delta Honor Society on campus.  Delta Mu Delta is the international honor society in business.  The society was founded on November 18, 1913 by five professors from Harvard, Yale, and New York University who believed that exceptional students in the field of business should be recognized and rewarded.  The mission of Delta Mu Delta is to promote higher scholarship in business education and to recognize and reward scholastic achievement in business subjects.  The induction ceremony included Dr. Thomas W. DeBerry, Regional Representative from Delta Mu Delta, and Professor at Freed-Hardeman University. Professor DeBerry was connected to the ceremony via Skype where he provided the history and importance of Delta Mu Delta to all in attendance.  The induction ceremony included the presentation of the charter, induction of two honorary members and now chapter advisers: Dr. Ray Kest and Michael Quaintance. KU – FTM Business faculty members, and also included the induction of two new members: Martin Mendez Martinez and Frances J. Poveda.  KU-Fort Myers looks forward to many years of service from this wonderful organization on campus.
