Fort Myers faculty Tim Seguin was inducted into the Southwest Florida Police Chiefs Association at a recent meeting. Seguin is the chair for Crime Scene/Forensic Investigation, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, and Legal Studies program at the Fort Myers campus as well as the primary instructor for Crime Scene Technology/Forensic investigation.

Seguin is a former police officer and forensic identification specialist in Metro Detroit and Lansing, Michigan. He also served during Operation Iraqi Freedom as a latent print examiner in a Baghdad area forensic lab. His efforts during Operation Iraqi Freedom earned him several citations from the US Army, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the governments of Great Britain and Australia.
