In the spirit of campus collaboration, Keiser University Port St. Lucie Campus’s Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology students recently teamed with Keiser University Flagship Campus students to learn more about sports medicine and first aid.  “It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to learn different modalities, taping, and rehabilitation techniques as they observed trainers Richelle Hammock and Lindsay Moccia working on the athletes,” said Julie Snyder, University Department Chair of the Keiser University Flagship Campus’ Sports Medicine & Fitness Technology and Exercise Science Program.

Following the training session, the Port St. Lucie group toured the fitness facility, gymnasium, and several other areas of the 100-acre residential Flagship Campus. “The experience was beneficial to students from both campuses, as they had the opportunity to discuss and understand the uniqueness of each other’s programs,” said Snyder.
