Fort Myers campus has really gotten into the spirit of, “Going Red For Cystic Fibrosis”.  On September 30, 2014 a pancake event was held.  Students, faculty and staff provided donations and feasted on “red” pancakes.  On October 1, 2014 a huge 20 foot X 50 foot red carpet (donated by Taylor Carpet One in Fort Myers ) was placed in the atrium of the lobby.  Students, Faculty and Staff can walk the red carpet each day and feel like a, “celebrity of giving” to the Cystic Fibrosis cause.  A replica of the Ruby Slippers from the movie, “Wizard of Oz” have also been put on display.  They serve as a symbol to remind everyone the importance of home, charity and giving.  The campus community can track our goal using the thermometer that is on the Cystic Fibrosis bulletin board that has been created outside student Services.  Many events have been planned around the, “red carpet” this month.  We invite everyone to come to the Fort Myers campus and walk the red carpet with us.
