Nicole King, Hospitality Program Director at the Fort Myers campus, spoke on the panel for the 2016 PowHERful Summit for the Soledad O’Brien and Brad Raymond Starfish Foundation in Tampa, FL. This summit was attended by approximately 175 young girls/women ages 15-22. Ms. King spoke on the panel called “Here’s How: Interning Into a Job!” where she explained the importance of dress code and how we at Keiser University incorporate those professional standards on our campuses. The event was very empowering as several of presenters spoke on various educational and motivating topics.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
