Erika Mancini recently became the newest recipient of the prestigious President’s Award on the Fort Myers campus. A current student of general studies with bigger aspirations in dietetics and nutrition, Erika earned this honor for “Peer Recognition.” One of Erika’s most recent instructors came to Student Services with impressive stories of her taking on roles as a mentor and motivator to her classmates, as well as an assistant to the overall class. However, her instructor was not the sole source of praise. Multiple classmates of Erika followed suit by coming to Student Services and endorsing her for the award with additional stories of her leadership. Once again, the best of Keiser University is recognized through the new President’s Award.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
