Ms. Robbins’s Basic English class was assigned the task of working in teams to teach grammatical concepts to one another. One team was so creative and made a Monopoly board game to teach adjectives and adverbs. Students had to figure out the correct way to implement either the adjective or adverb provided into the sentence. Not only did the students enjoy it, but they took their learning very seriously, too, asking questions and discussing answers amongst each other.
