Captain Edmond Croughwell (ret), Program Coordinator for the Law Enforcement Training Center at Keiser University and Mr. George Shoemaker, Jr. J.D., University Department Chairman for Crime Scene Technology/Forensic Investigations hosted the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association with over 70 law enforcement professionals on campus. Dean Jannette Porta-Avalos welcomed the police chiefs. Chief Dwayne Flournoy called the meeting to order and presentations were given by Dr. John Sites, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs Keiser University, Mayor Ryan/Major Torres- DV Injunction Process, and Erie Nardo, CTO for the Broward County Clerk of Courts talked about electronic records.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
