43 students, faculty, and administration registered and attended the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk that took place at Huizenga Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Representatives from the Student Government Association, the Student Physical Therapy Association, the Student Occupational Therapy Association, and the Student Nurses Association assisted the fundraising efforts of the university, resulting in $784.00 collected for the American Cancer Society to assist in the fight against breast cancer.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
