Recently students in Professor Monroe’s Biology Labratory class at the Ft. Lauderdale campus participate in a lab for the day doing an environmental science study  in consideration of temperature, humidity, and rainfall. The experiment aimed to determine if the unusual weather last year was a fluke or an actual change in the South Florida environment. Students gained experience on running a scientific project and recording applicable and quantitative data to determine the answer to the question, “Was the weather in South Florida last year really unusual?”
