Graduate Admissions Requirements

Admissions Requirements ( Educational Leadership Ph.D. and Instructional Design and Technology Ph.D. )

  • Submission of a completed Graduate School Application.
  • Submission of an unofficial transcript or copy of a foreign evaluation
    showing successful completion of a master’s degree with a completed Graduate School Application
  • Submission of official transcripts or original foreign evaluations
    showing successful completion of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university
    received within the first semester of enrollment
  • Two letters of recommendation received within the first semester of enrollment
  • Minimum GRE composite score above the 50th percentile or MAT score above the 50th
    percentile received within the first semester of enrollment
  • Formal resume indicating education and complete work history

* Requirement for GRE / MAT scores may be waived for students who meet any one of the following:

  • Doctorate from an accredited institution
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a grade average of at least 3.2
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a grade average of 3.0 or
    above with a minimum of two years of professional work experience

Failure to provide documentation or test scores or to achieve the grade point average required at the end of the first semester may lead to suspension or dismissal from the University.

Admissions Requirements ( MBA, MACJ and MSEd )

Note: A concentration / specialization selection must be made for degree programs with two or more concentrations/specializations.

  • Submission of an unofficial transcript or copy of a NACES foreign evaluation showing successful completion of a bachelor’s degree with a completed Graduate School Application
  • Submission of official transcripts or original foreign evaluations showing successful completion of a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university received within the first semester of enrollment
  • Two letters of recommendation received within the first semester of enrollment
  • Minimum GRE composite score above the 50th precentile or MAT score above the 50th percentile received within the first semester of enrollment.
  • Formal resume indicating education and complete work history

** Requirement for GRE / MAT (and GMAT for the MBA ) scores may be waived for students who meet any one of the following:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a grade average of at least 3.0
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a grade average of 2.7 or above with a minimum of two years of administrative, managerial or professional work experience
  • Completion of the first semester of enrollment with a minimum grade average of 3.0
