Written by: Brian Leonard, MBA Graduate from KU Lakeland

My name is Brian Leonard.  I am a two time graduate of Keiser University earning an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology (RT) in April 2006 and a Master of Business Administration, with a focus on leadership, in March 2013.  My experience as a KU student has prepared me for the professional world and all of its endeavors.  Coming from a programmatically accredited RT program, to teaching and eventually leading one, to now being an accreditation specialist within an accreditation agency, the life lessons and education I gained during my time as a student with KU have paid significant dividends.  I am truly thankful to my instructors and the absolute passion they demonstrated towards their craft while I was obtaining my educational goals.  The resources and equipment provided by KU ensured the proper education was afforded to me to succeed in today’s professional world.

Now as a graduate, I am an accreditation specialist for the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).  My role as an accreditation specialist is a difficult one requiring many traits of an organizational leader.  All these traits I certainly experienced and witnessed as a student of KU.

To all current and future KU students my advice to you would be you can never dream too big and always gamble on yourself.  The foundation you would gain while at Keiser University is solid and stable ground which will only assist you in obtaining your professional goals.
