The Library services for Graduate Students fall into 3 broad categories.  Reference services – getting answers to your research questions, Access Services – locating and retrieving the materials you need, and Instruction Services – teaching you how to find the materials you need.

Your first step in the search for information sources should be the library’s state of the art web-based catalog that may be accessed at:  and is the library’s gateway to providing access to its collections of materials and databases including the library’s e-book collections and the Interlibrary loan (ILL), a service through which libraries share resources. (Log in to the library catalog by using your Student Number as your USER  NAME and the last 4 digits of your Social Security or Federal Tax ID Number as your PASSWORD.)

The library offers personalized, individual and group services by appointment. All of the library’s staff can provide information and give advice on effective research strategy, search terms, resources, titles that might be helpful and other library services that you may not have considered. To request an appointment please contact the library! We have some very innovative ways to assist you.  Please ask us!
