As a high school student group recently visited Keiser University to learn more about its mission and programs it also had a special opportunity to meet Senator Aaron Bean.  After being welcomed by Keiser University Flagship Campus President Dr. Tom Duncan, the group, all members of Felix Varela Senior High School’s Hospitality Academy got to know Jeff Greenip the university’s Director of Admissions, and Dr. JB Ward, its Hospitality Management Department Chair and Faculty Athletics Representative. Ward shared information relating to hospitality industry opportunities, the many support systems designed to help students successfully complete college, and more. The group was then thankful to be introduced to Senator Aaron Bean as it toured the university’s 100-acre campus. Bean encouraged them to reach for the stars as they plan their educational goals

The Keiser University Flagship Campus’ Office of Admissions regularly hosts student groups to showcase the university’s campus and programs first hand. The Hospitality Management Program prepares students with competencies in the areas of sales, financial management, food and beverage sales and safety and facilities maintenance and housekeeping, as well as general accounting tailored to the hotel and resort industry.
