The Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology program at the Jacksonville campus honored the “big game” weekend and Keiser University’s future football program with the first ever “Seahawk Bowl”; 5-on-5 co-ed flag football tournament.

It was a single elimination tournament where six teams competed for KU bragging rights. Over 40 players participated and many spectators cheered them on for this great campus event. The championship game came down to “We are the North” and “Raw Athletics” squaring off, with “Raw Athletics” just squeaking out the victory in overtime with a final score of 19-18.

The Sports Medicine program plans to make this an annual event the day before the Super Bowl and continue to hold seasonal sporting events to promote physical activity, campus and program camaraderie, and sportsmanship.
