FORT LAUDERDALE participated in the Toys for Tots toy drive collecting nearly 500 toys to have the Marines distribute in our community. Director of Student Services Violet Nikolici Lowrey was able to deliver the toys to the operations center in Hialeah and visited with the Marines!
PORT ST. LUCIE partnered with the local Vietnam Vets chapter to help with the success of their toy drive.
FORT MYERS collected 92 toys with the SOTA Club being a major part of the donating efforts.
The ORLANDO campus collected 195 toys for Toys for Tots. Congratulations to Chip Blackmon’s Advanced Pathophysiologic Imaging class for collecting the most toys with 52 toys and they received a pizza party. The Department of Academics collected the most toys for a department and received coffee and doughnuts. The Marine Corps Reserve Unit picked-up the toys today to distribute to families in need in the Central Florida Community for this holiday season.
