Keiser University’s Fort Myers campus is pleased to announce that Crystal Ferone, a Health Services Administration major, has been awarded the honor of being on the 2015 All-Florida Academic Team chosen by the Florida College System.

Annually, the Florida College System announces their All-Florida Academic Team, which recognizes outstanding students for their academic achievement, leadership and service to their communities. Students are nominated by their respective colleges to the All-USA Academic Team competition sponsored by USA Today and the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

“Crystal Ferone was nominated by Associate Dean Rob Knox/PTK Academic Advisor for her leadership, academic skills and the positive impact she has had on fellow students,” stated Nancy Tedros, Campus President.  Crystal is in the Health Services Administration program at the Keiser University in Fort Myers and has maintained a 4.0 GPA while working full time and taking care of her family.  She is also the PTK president at her campus.

To recognize the outstanding achievements of the 124 students chosen, the Florida College System will host an awards ceremony on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee at 11:30 a.m. Students in attendance will be honored during the program and each student will be presented with a medallion for his/her achievements.
