The Sarasota campus  hosted representatives from Revent Ovens at the Center for Culinary Arts  to thank the company for their generous donation of $50,000 worth of ovens.  The ovens will be put in the kitchen now named, Revent Bake Shop at Keiser University.

“Having ovens of this caliber will allow students to produce baked goods and breads with consistent world class results,” stated Chef Michael Moench, Dean for the Center for Culinary Arts. The Revent Ovens have four decks operating separately so students can see the difference in results from different temperature and heat percentages from top to bottom, as well as from heat.

Collaborative partnerships with employers are an essential part of our mission. Employers contribute to our student’s education in many significant areas. Our employers drive many of the changes to our curriculum providing guidance and recommendations which ensure that our curriculum is “state of the practice” thus preparing our students to compete and lead in their chosen fields.
