Recently, a kick-off reception for the Step Out Walk for South Florida was hosted at the Ft. Lauderdale campus with involvement from eCampus and the Graduate School. Dr. Keiser spoke to students, staff, and faculty about his passion for the American Diabetes Association and highlighting ways Keiser University can get involved. This year, Dr. Keiser is the chairman of the Step Out Walk for South Florida. The reception included diabetes health information, peer-to-peer talks, raffles, and a presentation by the American Diabetes Association. The walk is taking place on October 22, 2016 in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
