Keiser prides itself on a hands-on learning environment and there is nothing more valuable than connecting this learning style with real world experience for their students.  Lakeland’s Forensic Investigation students visited a local vehicle towing business last week where each student was able to receive this hands-on, in-field training. Students were each assigned a different vehicle to photograph, process for latent fingerprints, and collect items for crime lab processing.

Brooke Beaudrot, a Forensics student who attended the field trip, stated that “[she] likes getting out of the classroom and having hands-on experience. It’s really cool to gain the understanding of what it will really be like once [she] is in this field.”
