Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies

Program Description
Keiser University's Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies trains students for careers in law and law-related fields (business, government and criminal justice), as well as preparing students to pursue a law degree. Students learn the necessary information and skills for successful integration into a law office atmosphere. They also learn the ways in which the law impacts most professional fields.

Program Objectives
The following objectives are designed to meet Keiser University’s mission and its objectives.

  • To develop students’ written and verbal competencies
  • To promote critical thinking by instruction students in analytical and technical skills
  • To provide students with a sound understanding of the law in the United States
  • To prepare graduates to work as legal assistants in law-related fields and to enter law school
