Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology and students in the Principles of Nutrition class took part in a tour of the grocery store with the produce manager and had the opportunity to perform a scavenger hunt around the store.  Each group’s task was to find their favorite foods and read the food labels.  Once back on campus, students prepared a power point and reported on the presence or absence of various nutritional components like grams of sugar, fiber and macronutrients such as carbs, fats and proteins.
