Keiser University had everything I needed in regards to location and class schedules. Its convenience allowed me to be able to perform my military duties and still attend class without interruption.

Earlier this session, I was sent to Adak, AK to catch my new Coast Guard unit which was on its way home from spending several weeks in the Japan area. Near the end of my second week on board and close to the end of our patrol—just entering the warmer Hawaiian like weather—we were diverted to return back North to Alaska and check on a car carrier that turned on its side. We spent the next week circling the carrier until more assistance arrived. We finally returned back to Hawaii last Thursday.
During this time, my book for my Marketing Management class didn't arrive. While in the middle of the Ocean and without a book, my professor worked with me and provided printable items as to ensure I did not fall too far behind.
Additionally, after my return home, I was given some extra time to complete my mid-term. I'd like to report that I am near completion of the class and am going strong with an "A"! It is wonderful to know that staff members at Keiser are so caring and understanding of the students even when strange things happen in their work environment - like mine.

My attending Keiser University changed my life forever. Thanks to Keiser's Financial Department I was able to easily use my G.I. Bill to pay for my tuition and books. They really handled the process from start to finish. Once I was enrolled in classes, I was given personal, professional, hands on training from professionals who were amongst the best in their fields. I really enjoyed the small class sizes, compared to larger Universities, as it really allowed me to receive more personalized training. The skills I learned at Keiser were almost instantly applicable in the real world, thanks to the way that they set up your class scheduling. The fact that I had finished all of my core Graphics Design classes, prior to Gen Eds, allowed me to begin working in my field as I continued to earn my degree. The experience was truly wonderful, and has led to a change in standard of living that would otherwise not have been attainable.

As an Army Vocational Rehab student I was faced with the prospect of a two year wait to get into a state run nursing program in spite of almost perfect grades in all of my pre-requisite classes. After learning about Keiser University’s fully accredited ADN-RN program, I applied and was immediately accepted. The faculty and students made me feel very welcome as a veteran. The VA worked directly with Keiser University regarding finances. All I had to do was show up for class (and study really hard). I made great friends with many of the students and found the nursing faculty to be very supportive and available 24-7. After about fourteen months of intense course work I graduated and was almost immediately hired as a clinical RN in a local trauma center.
Thanks to Keiser University I am now making a comfortable living doing what I love to do. I strongly recommend the Keiser nursing program to any veteran who isn't afraid of a little hard work.
