The National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) of Keiser University West Palm Beach campus had the privilege to partner with Quantum House and cook dinner for the children and their families. The menu included fried chicken, mac & cheese, fried PB&J sandwiches, and ice cream. It was great seeing the faces of the children when they saw the delicious meal awaiting them. The opportunity to interact with the children at Quantum House allowed the NSNA members give back to the community. It was great to see so many smiles that night! NSNA enjoyed being a part of this cause and plan to continue to be part of this event again.

Quantum House opened its doors in May 2001 to children that are receiving treatment at St. Mary’s Hospital for serious medical conditions. Per the board of directors, “Over the years, The Quantum House has proudly served families from every state and nearly two dozen countries around the world. This House continues to be where hope has a home for more than 500 family members every year.” The Quantum house is currently expanding their home to making more bedrooms and playrooms for incoming families and will be ready by the spring of 2016.
