The West Palm Beach campus Nursing PEDS Instructor, Stephanie Laing and her students, surprised PPEC (Physician’s Prescribed Extended Care) with a variety of donations to supplement classroom supplies. Students visit PPEC each semester as part of their Pediatric rotation to get the experience with working with “chronically” ill children who are not able to be mainstreamed into the regular school system. The students learn a lot at this facility and decided to give back by surprising the facility with a donation of gifts.
The staff at the facility were shocked and so appreciative of the donations, “Keiser students have the heart for this place and we love when they are here”.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
