Thomas Heller and Emily Kane from Hangar Clinic instructed the OTA students in the musculoskeletal class on upper extremity and lower extremity prosthetics and orthotics. The students also had the opportunity to meet and learn from 2 Hangar clients one a congenial long transhumeral amputation and the other an acquired lower extremity amputation. The clients shared their experiences and the importance of occupational therapy in the rehabilitation process.
