Keiser University Orlando held their annual holiday event for students and their families. Along with Orlando Christian Preparatory School (OCP), KU Orlando invites the students to bring their families to visit Santa Claus and watch special holiday performances by the OCP pre-school, junior high and high school students.

Not only were there performers and Santa Claus, but this year, KU Orlando added a Charlie Brown/Peanuts theme to the event, getting a couple volunteers to dress up as Peanuts characters (Jeremy Pilson as Linus, Valerie Stephens as Violet), while incorporating various Charlie Brown/Peanuts activities such as painting Snoopy’s dog house, decorating Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree, psychiatric photo booth.

Student Veterans of America member, John Sprague led the guests in reciting the pledge of allegiance, while current Nursing student, Ailynn-Grace Betguen, performed the national anthem. Cypress Creek High School were also present to lead the presentation of colors.

Guests were encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to contribute to their Toys for Tots toy drive.  Thanks to the generosity of students, faculty, staff and guests the Orlando campus has four boxes filled with toys, which will be delivered to the local Toys for Tots center.
