The Orlando campus held their annual Door Decorating Contest for faculty and staff offices, departments and classrooms. More departments, faculty, staff and classrooms participate this year than we have ever had in the past. With the quantity, the quality of the Door Decorating has also increased. Jeremy Gonzalez’s OT Pre-Clinical Practicum class won the Classroom Door Decorating Contest with the theme, “The Grinch that Stole Our Diplomas.” The High School Admissions Department won with their Fire Place Mantle with Fire for winning First Place for Department/Faculty/Staff. Everyone did a great job, but recognition also went to notable doors of the Histotechnology and Radiologic Technology classrooms, and Dean Jones and Registrar.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
