After a stroke, people have a characteristic posture in their arm and leg which affects their walking greatly. They also lose sight in one half of their visual field.  Sarasota PTA students applied wraps and braces to their arms and legs and wore handmade glasses designed to mimic these effects to give them an idea of the difficulties faced by people that have suffered a stroke. Each student took turns acting as a patient and a student therapist providing treatment.
