Staff, students, faculty, and family members from the Port St. Lucie campus stuffed thousands of school supplies into backpacks for students in the St. Lucie County School District for the annual United Way School Supply Drive.  United Way runs the drive from July to Aug. At local “Stuff the Bus” locations, supplies are gathered and sorted by volunteers and stuffed into thousands of back packs each year.  The drive supplies all children on free and reduced lunch a back pack for the start of the school year.  Melanie Mead, Re-Entry Coordinator and a member of the campus Cross Functional Team at the campus led the activity by recruiting, managing and supplying volunteers with a complimentary breakfast along with red velvet cupcakes.
