Psychology students at the Ft. Lauderdale campus have a “Psychology Cares” project and have recently chosen Homeless Voices as the local organization to work with.  The class provided personal care bags to the volunteers who came to pick up the donations of personal hygiene products such as combs, body wash, shampoo and toothbrushes.  This is a year long project being done by the psychology department and they also have plans to host a dress down day in the future to benefit this organization, as well.  The purpose of the campaign is to get our student’s connected to the community we serve and learn more about the populations they will serve as counselors, therapist and case managers.
