Students at the Miami campus enrolled in Introduction to Experimental Psychology were required to conduct their own psychological research this month. Each student was charged with the task of designing and conducting a study. During the course they learned about informed consent, research design, measurement, as well as analysis appropriate for testing their hypotheses. Students enjoyed the experience of collecting their own data. In addition, each student had the opportunity to present their results at the 3rd Annual Psychology Week on campus.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
