In Sarasota’s Patient Care Procedures class, the focus is on the development of basic physical therapy skills and procedures. Instructor, Joseph Ingerman demonstrates practices to the students with emphasis on the patient care, environment safety, positioning, transfers, gait training with assistive devices, body mechanics and stair training. The class was able to gain hands on experience and develop knowledge and skills in these rehabilitation procedures.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
