Keiser University’s Center for Culinary Arts Sarasota hosted a ProStart Regional Workshop, with 80 students from 12 different high schools attending. ProStart is the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s high school Culinary Arts Curriculum.  Florida is the largest ProStart state in the USA. Students learned about American regional cuisine and ingredients while honing their skills with the KU Chef Instructors and students. Student prepared American regional dishes that range from Grilled Bison with Blackberry Sauce to Southern Pecan Pie.
