Members of Southwest Florida SCORE came to campus to assist with mock interviews for several students. SCORE’s mentors, comprised of active and retired business men and women, and provide clients with free and confidential business counseling. Each student came well dressed and prepared with resumes. Nine SCORE members spent the morning meeting one on one with each student as if they were on a real job interviews. Once complete, feedback was provided to the program directors and faculty. This is a great skill that everyone needs to learn to be prepared for the ever demanding job market. A special appreciation was awarded to SCORE member Dale Johnston for his longtime support of our students. A big Thank You to SCORE for helping our students obtain job success in the future.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
