Occupational Therapy Assistant students in Marcia Hamilton’s class received hands-on training with creating splints in the classroom.  Students used each other as mock patients as they measured and custom-fitted the splints to the unique features of each other’s’ extremities.  It was a practical and fun learning process that will serve the students well when their Level II Fieldwork begins in a few months.
