Mike Joseph is a student in the Transportation and Logistics concentration of the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BABA) program at Keiser University’s Jacksonville campus.  He has a considerable interest in aviation and air transportation, and has considerable hours flying Microsoft Flight Simulator, but he had never flown in an airplane before.

Impressed with his interest in aviation, and hoping to inspire him into pursuing an aviation transportation career, one of his business instructors, Tom Baine, a private pilot and former airline manager, invited Mike to go flying with him.  They flew in a Cessna 172 aircraft out of the Fernandina Beach, Florida, airport.

Tom hopes to inspire Mike into pursuing a career in air transportation once he completes his Bachelor’s degree in business (with a transportation and logistics concentration) at Keiser University’s Jacksonville campus.  As there is currently a serious pilot shortage in the global airline industry, now is a great time for students like Mike to pursue their careers in that industry.
