Tampa’s Surgical Technology students are practicing protocol skills for upcoming final exam on Sterile Fields. By practicing in a supervised lab, students “sharpen” their practical skills in the lab by ensuring all instruments are ready and sterile. In this scenario, students are dressed in personal protective equipment and preparing the operating instruments for usage. This exam will be the very first practicum final exam for this cohort.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
