The West Palm Beach campus was involved in a teen summit at Boynton Beach Community High school as volunteers to enhance the event. The “It Takes A Village Teen Summit” was to promote teen learning in such areas as: financial responsibility, interacting with law enforcement, managing relationships and much more. Outside of KU representatives; Corey Campbell and Darius McDougle, x102.3, state representative Bobby Powell Jr. and a host of other businesses were in attendance to make this event a success. With over 200 students this was a great opportunity for the West Palm Beach to be more involved with the community.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
