The West Palm Beach campus hosted a committee meeting for the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Their offices were destroyed in a fire recently, so KU hosted over 25 attorneys on campus. Gary Chapman, Legal Studies Program Director, took a few minutes to talk about our legal programs and showed examples of some of his students work. In addition, he provided them an open invitation to our Law Day Panel Discussion on May 11^th. The event is designed to increase public awareness of community policing as an effective law enforcement model to improve relationships and cooperation between the police and local communities.
