The Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Trustbridge hosted their first Everyday Hero Awards, “a tribute to the individuals and organizations who have made a positive difference in the community”.
Keiser University was nominated not only for the local philanthropic efforts in Pembroke Pines and Broward County, but for outstanding service to the communities across Florida with charitable giving and volunteer service hours through fundraisers amounting to over $1.5 million. Pembroke Pines’ Associate Dean of Information Technology, Etzer Massenat and Director of Student Services, Melissa Forges received the “2018 Corporate Hero Nominee” award on behalf of their campus.
Christine Mueller, Nursing Program Director from Ft. Lauderdale’s campus also attended in recognition of the strong partnership the stellar nursing program has with Trustbridge and the positive impact the nursing program has in the community.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
