As part of the strategic partnership between KU College of Golf & Sport Management and Impact Zone Golf™, Bobby Clampett, author of The Impact Zone, Champions Tour player, and TV broadcaster, visited The College of Golf & Sport Management  and spoke to the entire student body. Mr. Clampett detailed his experiences on the PGA Tour, broadcasting at The Masters, his golf course design business, what inspired him to write his book, and finally his return to competitive golf on the Champions Tour in 2011. Following his presentation, he conducted a demonstration in The College of Golf & Sport Management indoor training area, hitting a variety of shots with different clubs and checking his numbers on the Trackman launch monitor. Students had to opportunity to ask questions in a group environment and individually, and Mr. Clampett graciously autographed copies of his book. Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management and The Impact Zone™ have a partnership which allows College of Golf & Sport Management students to achieve Impact Zone Player Certification and Impact Zone Associate Instructor Certification as part of the program. Also in attendance were PGA Legacy Master Professional Dr. Eric Wilson and PGA Professional Certified in Instruction and General Management Ken Martin, both Impact Zone Golf Master Instructors, and Impact Zone Golf Certified Instructors PGA Master Professionals Brian Hughes and David Wixson, PGA Professional Certified in Instruction Frank Longabucco, and PGA Professional and Golf Magazine Top 100 Adjunct Instructor John Callahan.
