The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) students enrolled in the Human Occupation and Development Across the Lifespan course hosted a cultural fair in the campus auditorium at the Daytona Beach campus.  The OTA students showcased their knowledge of culture, activities of daily living (ADLs), unique activities/games, food and artifacts from Japan, Australia, Egypt, and Mexico. The purpose of the assignment is for students to demonstrate cultural competency which includes appreciation of the role of sociocultural, socioeconomic, and diversity factors and lifestyle choices in various cultures across the globe.
