Research poster design is the focus of this RSC Scholars’ Exchange Lunch & Learn presentation titled Posterology: The Art and Science of Research Posters, led by Dr. Anne Nelson, Professor of Business at Keiser University Graduate School.
This session introduces a practical framework designed to help doctoral students communicate their research with clarity and impact. Drawing on her background in media, visual arts, and academic research, Dr. Nelson explores visual organization, scholarly storytelling, and audience-centered design in the development of effective research posters.
The presentation focuses on transforming complex studies into clear, visually engaging narratives that highlight purpose, methodology, and key findings. In addition, participants will gain practical strategies to improve poster design, strengthen scholarly presence, and present their work confidently in academic and professional settings.
